Mathis Weber
Chairman
Mathis is a senior from France, double majoring in physics and quantitative economics. Holding both passions in physics lab research and a motivation for a professional career in financial services, he has interned at the Softbank Vision Fund while working on insurtech investments and interests in deep-tech advancements. He followed with an Investment Banking internship at Morgan Stanley this summer in NYC for the Global Tech Team, supporting his understanding of technology services further - where he will return after college. Within Tufts Investment Club, he serves as the Chairman and leads the research groups about non-public investment.
Peter Kane
Co-President
Peter is a junior from Marblehead, Massachusetts majoring in economics and with aspirations for law school. Within the Tufts Investment Club, he serves as a research group leader and as a student teacher for the non-profit Fit Money Fellows. In his free time, Peter enjoys fishing, reading, kayaking, and mountain biking.
Aidan Oiknine
Co-President
Aidan is a junior from St. Louis, Missouri majoring in computer science. He has interests in investing, biotechnology, and other modern technological innovations. Within the Tufts Investment Club, he leads a fundamental research group. In his free time he enjoys pursuing personal projects, investing, reading, and spending time with friends.
Marie Quintanar
Co-Head of Operations
Marie is a junior from Boston, Massachusetts majoring in quantitative economics, finance and entrepreneurship. This past summer she interned at Bain & Company and she is currently conducting asset management analysis for Ameriprise Financial. She is also a member of the Tufts Alpine Ski Team and is a Classroom Operating Officer at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center. In her free time, Marie likes to hike, run and cook.
Dylan Mehta
Co-Head of Operations
Dylan Mehta is a fourth year student at Tufts University studying Economics and Finance. Dylan has had multiple previous internship experiences, working with the likes of Evercore, Fidelity Investments and, most recently, Google. On Campus, he is also the President of the Tufts Economics Society and has spent past semesters as a peer instructor within the Excollege. Originally from New York, Dylan likes to spend time at the beach, try new restaurants and go on holiday with his friends and family.
Katie Shelburne
Head of Outreach
Katie serves as the head of FitMoney fellows. She is a senior at Tufts studying quantitative economics and urban studies. This past summer, she interned at Goldman Sachs in their Houston office. In her free time, Katie is on the varsity swim team and a Green Dot ambassador.
Daniel Williams
Co-Head of IT
Daniel is a senior from Long Island studying Computer Science with a minor in economics. The last two summers, he has interned at Meta and Amazon developing software. In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing piano, basketball, and cycling.
Irene Zhang
Co-Head of IT
Irene is a sophomore from Shanghai, China majoring in Economics and minoring in Computer Science. She is also pursuing a degree in BFA Studio Arts at the SMFA. Last summer Irene interned at State Street on the liquidity risk management desk. In her free time, Irene enjoys playing badminton, squash, and doing oil painting.
Omar Dada
Co-Head of General Meetings
Omar is a sophomore from Pakistan majoring in quantitative economics. He is interested in exploring relevant trends in the markets and understanding their broader economic implications. He interned at Auldbrass Partners, a private equity firm, where he explored the secondaries market, focusing on tech-enabled companies. He currently interns at Wofford advisors, an investment bank specializing in logistics and transportation M&A, and is motivated to purse a professional career in financial services. Beyond that, he loves being outdoors and hanging out with his friends.
Co-Head of General Meetings
Anand is a sophomore at Tufts University studying Applied Mathematics, with minors in Computer Science and Philosophy. Originally from Queens, New York, Anand interned at Assured Guaranty’s New York office last summer with their Portfolio Analytics group. As a licensed real estate salesperson in Massachusetts, he works with Next Gen Realty to facilitate timely and seamless transactions for their clients. In his free time, Anand enjoys playing the piano and guitar, going to the gym, and reading.
Jadyn Gelfand
Head of Operation In-Training
Jadyn is a freshman from Lower Merion, Pennsylvania. She is planning on double majoring in International Relations and Economics. Within Tufts Investment Club, Jadyn works as an analyst on a research group and as a student teacher through FITMoney. In her free time Jadyn enjoys reading Spanish poetry, playing squash, and drawing architecture.
